This afternoon I adjusted the valves on my motorcycle...I have to say, my fingers hurt. The actual adjustment was a 5 minute ordeal, the annoying part is getting the four, yes I said four, valve covers off the engine. Well, actually, three are a pain in the ass, the fourth is easy.
If I was ten years old,it would have been easier...but it is done.

Your fingers would hurt less if you'd wait to take the covers off when the engine cooled down! :) If only we could have smaller hands when we want them. Or larger ones to strangle the engineers who design this stuff, huh?

Yeah the engineers who designed the Virago were amazing, until they put the valve covers two inches away from the top part of the frame...
