So I started reading "The Soul of Chef", by Michael Ruhlman...
I just finished chapter 3. I felt emotions of worry, stress, and excitement as I was reading. Ruhlman brings the emotion of what these chefs are going through to the front of your mind. I actually was stressed out when one of the chefs was in the weeds, yet managed to pull it all together in the end...
If you have any interest in what one goes throught to become a CMC (certified master chef) defenitely read this book..
in other news...umm, well, not much...well I have actually come to the point where I hate cooking, in class that is. I am ready to be finished. I am ready to move on, I have been in school in some form or the other since I was five, 80% of my life.
I feel almost as if school has become redundant, I am ready to learn about food, cooking, and the like outside of school. I have only three weeks of class left., then I work in the on campus restaurant for the last six weeks. I just hope I have the patience to stick it out. I didn't even go to class today, not for any reason except that I am burned out.
I am ready to leave Los Angeles, I am ready to go...
